Home Renovation/Addition and Second Floor Addition - Kirkwood, MO
Wanting to convert a one-story ranch house into a 2-story home with a 'Colonial Williamsburg' flavor, the project included renovation and addition to the first floor along with a second story addition. The first floor work included a complete Kitchen renovation, and addition of a new Sun Room, complete with Mexican Tile flooring. House entry was also redone and a stair was added to access new Secord floor addition. Second floor included Master Bedroom with Master Bath, plus two additional bedrooms.

The roof dormers were designed utilizing an authentic Williamsburg detail to create proportionally exquisite roof elements. The details include thin vertical edges flanking the window with splayed side-walls and roof designed to eliminate the visually top-heavy appearance prominent in most dormers.

A subsequent addition of an all-season, enclosed porch was added to the back of the home.
